 What You Need To Know Before the event... Attendees will have the option to either a) participate or b) observe during the hands-on training, and must agree to the following PRE-REQUISITES. If you are planning to participate as an INJECTOR, you agree to bring the following to the workshop:
1. One model (We can only accommodate one model per attendee). Please ask your model to arrive 1-hour after start of the program 2. Injectables and Medical Supplies (suggested types/quantities can be found HERE) Please note that you will not be able to inject in the hands-on session if your injectable agents are not FDA-approved. Injectable products must be obtained from a valid U.S. distributor. 3. MANDATORY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE PALETTE WORKSHOPIn order for you to participate in the PALETTE Hands-on Workshop, it is MANDATORY that you provide us with the following documentation AT LEAST 1 WEEK BEFORE THE WORKSHOP. Please fax to us at: 646-786-4002 or upload them to the "My Forms" tab of your account The following MANDATORY Documents are required: - A copy of your State Medical License (and Registration, if your state requires one) -
whether or not you plan to inject in the Hands-on Session
- If you are an RN, NP, PA or other licensed professional qualified to inject, and you
are planning to inject during the Hands-on session, you must provide us with a signed Acknowledgement from your Supervisory Physician. If you have any doubt as to whether or not the Mandatory Documents were received prior to the Workshop, please bring copies of your documentation to the Workshop as well.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not provide us with these Mandatory Documents, you will not be able to participate in the workshop. A photo ID must be presented at the workshop that matches your medical license
4. You agree to complete our Pre-Workshop Survey at the time of registration. This has been developed to give you, the learner, opportunity to identify your most important areas of education to our Faculty, and to allow the instructor(s) to tailor the curriculum to your learning goals. 5. You agree to complete our Post-Workshop Evaluation in order to receive your CME credit certificate.
Learning is enhanced by participation in the hands-on session, although learning from the didactic session and observing your colleagues is still a worthwhile experience.
At the event... When you register, you will be asked to select the top two treatment areas you would like to learn. At the event, during the hands-on session, you will have the opportunity to receive expert guidance on your injection technique. Due to time constraints, we can only guarantee that you will have the opportunity to inject one area selected. If time allows, we will make accommodations to allow for further injection training but cannot guarantee that this will occur.
